1. Service Description

TradeEdge ("Service", "Platform") is a web-based trading journal application designed for futures and options traders. The Service provides trade logging, performance analytics, behavioral insights, AI coaching, and portfolio tracking tools.

TradeEdge provides information and tracking tools only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or solicitation to trade. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. TradeEdge shall not be liable for any trading losses or damages arising from the use of this platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradeEdge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the trade data you enter into the platform. TradeEdge does not verify your trade entries against broker records.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, including securities regulations and your broker's terms of service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation, insider trading, or fraud.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscription and Billing

TradeEdge offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Free — Limited to 50 trades per month. Basic analytics. No AI coaching.
  • Pro ($19/month) — Unlimited trades. Full analytics suite. AI weekly coaching. CSV import. Priority support.
  • Elite ($39/month) — Everything in Pro. Live market data feeds. Broker integrations. Conversational AI chat. Advanced behavioral analysis.

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your current tier until the end of the billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

5. Data Handling

Your trade data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest. We collect trade entries, account information, and usage analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may export all of your data at any time. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Intellectual Property

Your data: You retain full ownership of all trade data, notes, screenshots, and other content you enter into TradeEdge. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

Our platform: The TradeEdge platform, including its software, design, logos, analytics algorithms, AI coaching system, and documentation, is the intellectual property of TradeEdge and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

7. AI Coaching Disclaimer

TradeEdge offers AI-powered coaching features that analyze your trading data and provide suggestions. These features use third-party AI models (OpenAI) to generate responses.

  • AI-generated content is for educational and informational purposes only.
  • AI coaching does not constitute financial advice.
  • Past performance metrics shown in AI analysis do not guarantee future results.
  • You should not rely solely on AI coaching for trading decisions.
  • AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify with your own analysis.

8. Market Data

Market data displayed within TradeEdge is sourced from third-party providers including Polygon.io, Databento, TastyTrade, and Interactive Brokers. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. TradeEdge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data.

You agree not to redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit any market data obtained through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADEEDGE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, DATA LOSS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TRADEEDGE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT TRADING FUTURES AND OPTIONS INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL INVESTORS. TRADEEDGE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRADING DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON INFORMATION DISPLAYED ON THE PLATFORM.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Delaware, United States.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradeEdge, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
